SRI LANKA – WEEK 2

Monday 7th December

Day off! We walked a bit around and on the beach, had a very good lunch at the hotel (typical Sri Lankan rice and curry). Something which frustrated us in India and Sri Lanka: eating seafood in a restaurant is really expensive, even if we are by the sea or in a fishing village!

 

In the afternoon we tried to go to town, but it started raining A LOT and we were not ready for that with our flip-flops and tee-shirts, so we gave up and went back to the hotel! (Lazy)

SRI LANKA – WEEK 1

Monday 30^th November

Nothing exciting this day, we arrived to Sri Lanka, and managed to get rid of every taxi and tuk-tuk drivers to find a local bus going to Colombo (the airport is quite far out of town). We’ll be in this country for the next 2 weeks.
